After 3 years of hiatus caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the WORLD LINK FOR LAW association, to which our firm belongs, resumes its face-to-face activity with its traditional annual congress of members.
World Link For Law™ is a leading network of independent law firms. With a network of 70 law firms with 80 offices in 47 countries around the world. It is one of the largest international networks of lawyers in the world.
The members and lawyers of our firm Rosa Maria Arasa Martí, partner, and Llorenç Caldentey Morey have traveled to London to hold the annual congress on behalf of Euroforo Arasa de Miquel Advocats.
Various conferences and events have been held there, including:
- Trends and challenges for law firms in 2023.
- The importance of Linkedin for professionals in the legal sector.
- Corporate social responsibility and the practice of “greenwashing”.
- Digitization of legal and legal services.
- Cybersecurity: risks and vulnerabilities of law firms.
- World Link for Law General Assembly.
- Practical cases that put the negotiation skills of the attendees to the test.
- Meeting of special interest groups, divided between: Arbitration, Tax Law, Gambling Law and meeting of young lawyers.
Beyond the educational sessions, of course there has been time for social gatherings between the members of the association, with dinners, events and the very remarkable gala dinner organized at the historic Gray’s Inn (https://www.graysinn.org.uk). The Gray’s Inn is one of the four Inns of Court (professional associations of lawyers and judges) in London and has existed since about the year 1370, with famous gardens, facilities and especially celebrations; that sheltered, among others, William Shakespeare or Francis Bacon.
